Where can I find "In the night garden" characters soft toys from kids channel Cebeebies (BBC)? My daughter is 19 months old and she loves watchin "In the night garden" from kids channel Cebeebies (BBC). She just loves Makka Pakka, upsy daisy and iggle piggle. I want to buy their soft toys for her and I know i can get them from ebay online. But I would prefer to see it first on the quality and size. My sister lives in London. So can anyone help me with the store in london where she can visit and buy them. Thnks :)
My baby lost his favourite little soft toy, a K's Kids toy called baby jack.. and is so upset...? it's a discontinued toy, but i'm hoping to find one somehow. he has been so upset over his missing 'best buddy' and fussing a lot. it's so heartbreaking watching him toss and turn in his crib looking for his baby jack! the doll is a little palm- sized clown with pastel blue and green outfit with a pastel pink hat. does anyone know somebody who is selling it or wanna sell one, even????
Is it babyish to like soft toys at age 12? I'm 12 and really like soft toys. Today my 7 year-old sister came back from a party with a buildabearville bear and I felt a teensy bit jealous. I was pretending not to be though. I've heard that only little kids go there and do you think it would be babyish for me to get one?
is 14 year old to have soft toys and a 11 year old boy as well? i love soft toys and so do my kids but there gran my bf mum thinks im holding them back and they are to old for them and poeple will laugh at them .but my son is shy and uses the toys to speak to poeple but im i holding them back by buying them soft toys and letting them go out with them when we go out i have tried to get my son to join clubs but he wnt go to them
parents- how do you keep toys under control? I always vowed that my children's toys would not overtake my home. So my son has one basket with soft toys in it, and a round laundry basket with his playing toys, which is in the living room. I don't particuarlly like how there is just a random laudry basket full of toys in the middle of my living room, and wonder how other people store their kids toys, or if they have any ideas. My son is nearly one, so where ever we put them, he needs to be able to get them without help.

Is it babyish to like soft toys? I'm 12 years-old. My 7 year-old sister recently went to a BuildABear birthday party and made a polar bear. I hate to admit it but I felt a tad bit jealous of her. I was just wondering if it would be babyish for me to go there and buy one. My mother said there were only kids her age there making one. I'd feel so out of place if that were the case. What do you think?
Is it weird that I make most of my kids clothes? I don't have a job, I'm a stay at home mum and when I'm not cleaning and running errands I make most of my kids clothes. Really the only store bought things they have are toys (not soft toys), shoes, formal clothes and shoes. I've knitted all their socks, baby booties. Made all their underwear, nappies (diapers) and clothes. My kids are 8, 5 and 4.
Is it babyish to like soft toys when you're 12 years-old? I'm 12 years-old and still like soft toys. I have a fair few. Just recently my sister went to a buildabearville party (she's 7 years-old) and made a polar bear. I denied it, but I felt sorta jealous. I told my mother I wanted one and she said there were only kids her age making one. I hate being in crowded places and get a little overwhelmed, but if there were only little kids there making one I would feel humiliated. What do you think I should do?
What can I do with my old soft-toys? I'm 14 and I turn 15 in November, but I still have all these soft-toys from when I was a little kid. I don't want to just throw them away because I would feel really guilty. I also don't want to give them to a charity shop because whenever I went in there, I would see them. I don't think anyone would want old Mr. Snuggles on ebay, and I don't have a loft or a cellar. I don't want them cluttering up my bedroom. I feel like I have no options left. What can I do?
Where (in the UK) can I get a soft toy for my new puppy with no squeak? all the ones I've found so far have a squeak and my adult dog destroys all squeaky toys within two hours - so that he can kill the squeak! There are lots of kids cuddly toys with no squeaks but they usually have hard eyes and noses which are no good for a pup! I've already tried pet shops and supermarkets near me - all the pet toys have a squeak! My adult dog does not chew up toys which don't squeak - only those that do.
How do I keep these kids out of my backyard!?!? Okay, these 4 and 5 year old kids keep on climbing my fence and stealing are toys, they also have been throwing crap at are pool (baseballs, basketballs, footballs etc), their dad is a drunken butt hole that doesn't do crap, I have an air soft pistol and I'm tempted to shoot them if they keep on doing it, they also call me names when they do it. Oh shut up grammer freaks!!! I can't talk to the parents, there drunken drug addictics!!
Do you like hello kitty for kids? OK so I have a baby daughter, Sapphire, and instead of buying her a teddy bear, I bought her a hello kitty soft toy made for babies, which I thought was really cute and totallly appropriate. I just don't understand why so people don't agree with muying babies hello kitty stuff? I mean, what's the problem? My daughter is half Japanese, for god's sake! I think she is entitiled to hello kitty.

Hey all, I want to buy a Mr. Pricklepants plush soft toy for my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary cos she loved him in Toy Story 3.... Hi, my kids have been getting really bad insect bites in their room, at first it was just one child so I hoovered her mattress, cleared out her soft toys etc, but it continued and now they both have bites! Rubber toys that strangled children? there used to be these toys where i lived that were a really hollow soft rubber toy that you can squeeze the air to parts of the rubber parts and the rope part was also rubber so it was all a one piece toy and you were supposed to wave it around and kids got strangled by them but i dont remember what they were called
Should kids be allowed to own bb or air soft guns.? I had to do a slideshow for my 7th grade class and decided to show my airsoft collection, but the principle saw it and gave my parents a call to tell them i was using dangerous weapons and that i should be above 18 to own them. I couldnt help but think that they are toys and society for some reason now generally frowns upon them. back in the fiftys everyone owned one and it was okay. Do you think my school was overreacting.P.S. they made me do a new slide show on my vacation. It was only a slideshow i only brought in pictures.
Does anyone remember this soft toy? =)? I recently stumbled over this soft toy on Ebay. Does anyone remember this from their childhood? I remember my friend had one & i'm trying to remember if he was a character from a kids show? :/ http://i.ebayimg.com/14/!BUlMTig!Wk~$(KGrHgoH-D8EjlLl)cYWBKOQB+tds!~~_1.JPG
What do you think is the best auction site? I'm a kid so obviously i'd have my parents sign up, but does anyone know of an auction site where I can get rid of all my cuddlies(soft toys) quickly? because I have a lot and I just want them to go... Or should I just use ebay?

HELP. Australian kids show from the 90s?? i honestly can't remember many details but i do believe it was a viacom production cos i remember the Vs that came up at the end. it was on ABC. there was a group of soft toys and they were alive. there was an elephant (pink?) and a weird lookin purple triangle shaped head soft toy or somthing w green eyes. they lived in some room and hid under the bed. umm there were more characters. i think a boy owned the room and the toys had to hide from him. it had nice music haha from what i remember when i was little (Y). help me otherwise i will do my head in trying to remember. thanks ps. it's not "timothy's animal shelf"
What can I do about my hostile work environment? My boss is a lawyer (woman) and I am her Legal Asst. (Also a woman). It's a small firm but she hits me on my arm. She even has a designated soft toy to hit me with. I have told her not to do this calmly and yelled it at her but to no avail. I have been trying to find another job but haven't been able to find one. I also need her references when i find another one. I am trying to contain the urge to choke her for hitting me. She does at least once or twice a day. She doesn't hit anyone else in the office (the paralegal) but they are witnesses to it. She makes jokes about it to people talking about who would believe it. I'm trying to be calm but can i get a case started against her and what would I be able to ask for? I will surely be fired if I do and I have kids I have to provide for. I can't afford to be without my paycheck. (which I have a problem with too because I looked up salary.com and found that i am grossly underpaid)
moloko 'things to make and do' - book cover? The cover for Moloko's 'things to make and do' album was 'nicked' from the cover of a 70s/80's kids craft book about making soft toys. I know because I used to have the book. Does anyone know what the book was called or who published it? I'm wanting to make some of the toys for my son as I loved em when I was little.
What did you name your stuffed animals as a kid? well I am only 15 and I still have all mine, Just curious as to what names you came up for thing when you were little... fluffy - my teddy bear (first soft toy) squeaky - my bunny rabbit remington - my other bear which everyone signed when I was born monte carlo - another teddy Martie - another teddy (my bear from the marter hospital when I was born) Patch - my toy dog big names for such a little kid.... will Kate McCann ever put that soft toy down? good show lady! perhaps we will all be able to buy a replica soon, with all the proceeds going to..... yep, you guessed it, the McCanns. they really are having the holiday of a lifetime. come on people, stop giving your hard working money to `parents` who leave their kids alone. - sponging morons! to pinhead. yes i have a boy and a girl - and so help me god have never, and would never leave them alone.
Alf the Soft Toy Alien? When I was younger I was obsessed with Alf and wanted him, my mother looked everywhere for him and eventually found him, when I was about 14 she gave him away to charity, now im 21 and want him back to hand down to my kids when i have them, I know its not going to be the exact same one. What I would like to know is, what type of box did Alf come in back in the day, I have looked on Ebay and they seem to come on their own. For a collectors item does anyone know what im supposed to look for. Thanks x I live in Wales in the UK
anyone remember the name of this stuffed animal kitten kids toy that purs? ok this is driving me nuts! does anybody remeber this little stuffed kitten that "purrrred"? it had a soft body and and in its head there was this like little ball or something and when you would move the kitten around the ball would move and make it sound like a purring noise. i'm not sure exactly how many different colored kittens they made but mine were grey and white and another was like a callico colored cat. they came out in like 1995-1996. i still have them somewhere but i can't find them right now. i just need to know what they were called. it had the words like "pur" and "kitten" in it but i can't think of the actual name. do you know? please, help, thanks,
Why isn't my 7 year old smart? My 7 year old daughter isn't as smart as some other kids. She still loves her soft toys, and would prefer to play with dad (e.g. be tickled by dad) than to actually join in a discussion. I've heard 7/8 year olds say very philosophical things, or even join in discussion but she does not. I mean, if someone says hello to her she just smiles at the person and goes all shy. She's still a cutesy kind of girl. Is this normal? Is she too immature for her age?
Need to Find Perfect Plush Baby Doll? My 18 month old niece loves to cuddle and loves soft plush toys. I wanted to get her, her first baby doll, but I can't find one that is totally plush without the plastic head/face. The ones I do find are kinda scary looking. Anyone with kids have something along these lines that there baby loved? And can give me a good review of? Thanks.
Has anyone doe there Chrismas shopping yet? If so what did you buy your kids? how old are they? i did my shopping today. Brought for my baby 9month old daughter lots of cloths and some cute soft toys and a toy cell phone which makes sounds and a glow worm which is so cute (i had one when i was a baby) and she's also getting money (which goes into her bank account, for when she's older)
I want to open a daycare for autistic kids in Merced/Central Valley(advice and help needed)? Im thinking of opening a daycare for autistic kids in the near future. My son was diagnosed with autism and I haven't really found any in-home daycares for kids with autism in the merced and central valley area. Does anyone know the need for this or does anyone have an autistic child? Any advice would be helpful. Also if anyone is interested in starting the daycare with me let me know. I want the daycare set up with soft play (like gymboree) and learning toys (social and sensory) for autistic children. I also want to set it up where nurses and special ed teachers can come and help and work with me/us and the children. Thanks for reading
Do you think today's parents are getting too soft? Do you think todays parents are getting too soft, yet too protective over their children, not allowing them to explore and learn life lessons on their own, and keeping them from vital experience because the 'TV' tells them it's traumatizing? I've noticed it, especially when parents -bribe- their children into getting them to behave, promising them a toy if they stop crying, or clean their room, rather than making the kid be obedient like a child should be.
Dangerous toys and safe toys? My friend is buying a toy that is 5 months old for Christmas. He wonders what toys are dangerous and which are not. He told me his nephew does'nt like Elmo or Sesame street. He is thinking of getting him Magnetix is that safe?Maybe he should get the Polly Pocket click on toy.But I'm worried that the kid might choke on the tiny magnets. His nephew likes Soft objects that are compatible and removeable. Also he is Spanish.
Poll: Do you think it is right for children to play with toy guns? I seen a kid playing with a cap gun (loaded) and thought what were his parents thinking giving him that... "Here you go son, now go wreck your ears.. oh, and have fun!" I have even seen kids playing with air-soft guns shooting and actually hurting their friends and it was ridiculous. Do you think it's right for kids imitate a gun fight with toy guns (even the ones that make sounds electronically when you pull it's trigger)? Do you think it would affect their lives growing up?
what is a good name for a thief? she is short, with short, choppy, messy black hair, pale skin, and silver/blue eyes. Her personality when she's not working is loud, random, rude, sarcastic, lazy, and an all around idiot. She loves to eat and has a bad habit of stealing even the most trivial of things. She is obsessed with shiny things and can often be seen playing with cat toys. Though she hates to admit it she has a soft spot for kids.
Do you let your kids play "War" - not the card game. Do you think it's wrong for other parents to allow it? I had heard a song yesterday and one of the lines was "war was just a game we used to play" and was wondering how many kids actually did this, and how many parents didn't allow it. I remember my younger brothers playing it when they were little. I also remember one of them taking my mom's sanitary pads and putting ketchup on and sticking them all over his body because he had "boo boo's" (he was six, and my mom had explained that sanitary pads were for women's big boo boo's). Entertainment. ;0) See, my boys are still young, they're only two, so unless it's soft, annoying, brightly colored or loud enough that the neighbors hear it, they don't play with it (or stare at it for .2 seconds and then proclaim how "bored" they are - despite the mountains of toys and entire basement dedicated to the kids). So I don't have to worry about the guns and weapons thing yet. Yes, I posted this last night but it was probably about three in the morning and didn't get many responses. My brain seems to come up with the craziest questions when it's very early in the morning - when no one with kids is usually online. Growing up my papa taught my sister and I how to shoot with a rifle, since we're he lived he owned a lot of land and there were wild turkeys, deers, coyotes, etc. and he would take us hunting with him. While we never really got into the gun thing (ok I lied, we liked to shoot the guns but the first time my sister accidentally killed a chipmunk - of all things - we cried for days and gave it a "proper" burial - in a shoe box in papa's backyard - and we told him that no more hunting, since we didn't know hunting meant killing animals. LOL. ) We were also eight and eleven. But no one ever showed my brothers, which I have five of, and they were old enough to, aside from the youngest so I don't know why. I'm thinking because we needed to know how to protect ourselves or whatever. That and my brothers used to use anything they could find to beat on each with. They all tied the youngest one to one of those clothesline poles once, because he was their prisoner, and kept escaping.
name of a common souvineer? There is a souvineer that you can typically get from an aquarium or museum. It is a cylinder shaped, soft plastic toy that many kids enjoy. It is filled with water and sometimes has small plastic sea creatures or glitter floating around in it. When you hold them in your hand loosly they just slide right through.
Did anyone watch The Sharkman on TV Channel 5 last night -UK only? Did anyone watch this programme last night on Channel 5, UK about a guy who free dives with great white sharks. Fascinating and terrifying at the same time, i was waiting for the sharks to take a chomp out of him but there he was stroking their noses and playing with them like a kid with a soft toy. What i actually want to know is any one know who was narrating the programme, as i have done a search and can't find the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i cannot get the bloke's voice out of my head and i think he is someone on TV, an actor, maybe. Thanks i think you are right, it has been bugging me since i was watching it, knew it was an actor, he's the son of Nigel Davenport i think, bit of trivia i know!!
What was your first impression of your wife/husband....? When I was in 2nd grade I used to hang out with this kid for a while so one day we went to his house after school to play video games, and his little sister who was about 3 or 4 (now my wife) kept stomping on my feet and hitting me on the head with an ET soft toy, you know how kids love to show off. So my first impression was that she was an annoying little twirp and I couldn't get away from her fast enough, thank god when we met again years later she was nothing like that anymore. She doesn't remember it but I sure as hell do, being battered around the head with a toy alien sort of sticks in your mind when you're that age LOL. It's a small world. What was your first impression of your wife/husband and do you still think the same?
Explain the kids - funny or not? There was this couple that had been married for 20 years. Every time they made love the husband always insisted on shutting off the lights. Well, after 20 years the wife felt this was ridiculous. She figured she would break him out of this crazy habit. One night, while they were in the middle of a wild, screaming, romantic session, she turned on the lights. She looked down ... and saw her husband was holding abattery -operated pleasure device... a vibrator! Soft, wonderful and larger than a "real one" She went completely ballistic. "You impotent b@stard," she screamed at him, "how could you be lying to me all of these years? You better explain yourself!" The husband looked her straight in the eyes and said calmly: "I'll explain the toy... you explain the kids.

I'm going on a trip to LA with the kids, i just want to be safe and make sure i dont come home woth bb guns and knives that they might sneak into the house or school and get them in trouble
What should I do ? I am a soft toys designer (teddies & so) and I draw & write children & kids comics & educational stories as well & I am so talented in that (Thanks to God) so what should I do to develop my self & make business out of this?
What was the toy sculpting kid back in the 70's called? There used to be a toy back in the 70's. It basically was a block of soft plastic or soap-like subtance. Inside this block was a harder SOLID plastic toy (sculpture). In the kit were "toy" sculpting tools which were used to pretend you were scuplting, thus revealing the toy sculpture. I'd like to know if anyone remembers what the trade name and manufacturer was. Thanks!
why can i not let go? My sister (13) and I (16) are clearing out our rooms and putting some of our old toys and other stuff into the attic. However, my sister is sorting hers out further and giving some old soft toys to the charity shop and selling most of her polly pockets, playmobil and other stuff like that. I dont know why but this really upsets me that she can just get rid of this stuff when they have so much sentimental value and memories of us playing with them when we were kids. I not only want to save my toys for this reason but also because i will give them to my children and also our other sister is having a baby soon. Why is it that i just cannot bring myself to throw out my toys when my sister does it with such ease? should i just let go? Part of me also thinks that she will regret this when she gets a little older as she has no childhood toys left.

you think our media would've made a big deal if china did this? yesterday, i just heard on tv some guy shipped peanut products knowing it was contaminated with salmonella. 8 or so people ate it and died, others got sick and now many products with peanuts in them are being thrown out. do you think the media would've been so soft if the peanuts were made in china and not America? do you think it's weird that peanuts which killed people only deserved a 20 second story, while lead toys that can potential harm kids, was a media sensation talked about non stop for like 4 months?
Daftest thing you've cried at? When pregnant I was on holiday with my family and we'd packed to go home. We'd won some soft toys on a grabber but not having room in our bags we donated them to the local kids club. We left them outside the door and I broke my heart at the thought of the poor teddies being left outside all alone lol. Totally nuts I know.

She figured she would break him out of this crazy habit. So one night, while they were in the middle of a wild, screaming, romantic session, she turned the lights on. She looked down... and saw that her husband was holding a battery-operated pleasure device -- a vibrator -- softer and larger than a real penis. She went completely ballistic. "You impotent bastard," she screamed at him, "how could you be lying to me all of these years? You better explain yourself!" The husband looks her straight in the eyes and says calmly: "I'll explain the toy... if you explain the kids."
why does my sister act like shes 10 when shes 20? She always tells me that she never wants to grow up! shes 20 but looks 13 She sounds and talks like a kid she has a soft voice all shy, quiet, and stuff. She Dresses mostly in mini skirts , with black see through stalkings, a plain colored tshirt (baby colors), or then cartoon shirts that she makes herself. She has never had a bf and thinks sex, having a bf, etc.. is nasty or not her thing. She carries this soft toy everywhere O_O which is the most odd thing because its just strange to me lol she carries it going out shopping really anywhere. Shes still at home with the family. She doesntn have any friends but claims that ppl her age dont understand her and judge her , she says her dog is her best friend. She is NOT handicapped etc... she had her IQ checked and was normal and also went to normal highschool classes. IS THIS SOME KIND OF MENTAL DISORDER ETC?
What should I do ????????????????????? I am a soft toys designer (teddies & so) and I draw & write children & kids comics & educational stories as well & I am so talented in that (Thanks to God) so what should I do to develop my self & make business out of this?

Loves baby soft perfume 2. Dr. Drill & Phil (playdough toy) 3. Rollerskates with metal wheels 4. Strawberry Shortcake dolls 5. Super short haircuts....people thought I was a boy till I was about 12. 6. Holly Hobby 7 Banana seats on our bikes. (Were we supposed to sit on them or insert them?)And don't forget the wicker basket on front 8.Solid Gold 9. The Bee Gee's of course 10. Sean Cassidy, Lief Garrett and Ponch. Those are just great things from the 70's that I remember. How about you? Let me know.
is this a good gift for a 2-year old? my neice's birthday is tomorrow and she's turning 2. it took me a whole month to think of a birthday gift and I finally went to Toys R Us yesterday to buy her something. I asked the salesperson for girly things like a mirror/dresser or something similar. The lady said it's better to get her a doll (I can't even believe she suggested a Bratz doll!!). Anyways, my neice has loads of toys so I thought the mirror/dresser thing is better especially that she's now where kids start immitating their moms. So I got a nice Disney princess one but my friend today thought that it's a bad idea to 'expose' her to make up and beauty stuff in general at that age!! do u think it's a bad gift?? btw, there's no make up in it..it comes with a couple hair accessories and a brush. and what else would u get a 2-year old who already has a swing, a tricycle, a car, lots of soft toys and dolls, inflatable swimming pool, lots of Barney dvd's and a learning laptop? Thanx :]
My Boxer dog carries a teddy with him everywhere? My Boxer is 1 year old. He is an adorable, big, soft dog. He was out walking with me last week and he had a rummage in a bargain bin of kids toys outside a charity shop and chose a stuffed green frog plush toy. I had to buy it for him as he loved it so much. 1 week on, He takes it everywhere with him, walks, he picks it up to take to his bed with him. I was wondering, is it usual for a dog to do such things? I have never known a dog get attached and cuddle a teddy before! He is a very maternal dog, lol. He raised our new Boxer from 7 weeks old. He shared his bed and food with her and howled when she was out of his sight.

Any suggestions for a first-year Education Assistant who needs to teach an autistic student about chemistry? Wow. I've done some work with kids who have special needs before, so I'm not TOTALLY out of my element, but this is all still VERY new to me. Here's the situation: I work with Taylor for the last hour and a half of the day. He's in grade 9, but spends almost no time in the class due to his autism. It mainly manifests itself in being Obsessive Compulsive. He'll take any opportunity he can to talk about: - Holidays (birthday, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas - in that order) - Pac-Man (his best friend) - Micky and Minnie - Berenstien Bears - Patterns (he wants to open his presents in a pattern - big, little, big, little, big, little; soft toy, hard toy, soft toy, hard toy, etc) His resource teacher is interested in integrating him into the classroom for bit of time during the day. At the end of the day (when I have him) he has science. Their teacher told me they are studying reproduction right now, but I think I'll steer WAY clear of that. Next, they'll study chemistry. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can teach him about?? Are there safe experiments that we can try easily that he can learn from? Any patterns in chemistry that he might comprehend? Any resource would be really helpful. Thanks so much!!
name of scary movie on t.v. from the 70's? Hi ! my old nasty baby sitter let me watch a bit of a scary movie in the mid 70's which had two kids ( little boy and girl )find an intruder in the house at night who tries to grab them ,the boy shines a flashlight into his eyes and temp.blinds him while they run into mum and dads room. alas, mum and dad are in bed, lying in a pool of blood and the little girl cuddles her soft toy as the house is on fire around them. this awful scene is all i can remember but it scared me sooo bad for years and i would like to know what this movie is called. also the bad guy had glasses on I think.
Trying to wean my son off the bottle....? Ok, I have the same old problem...my kid wont put anything in his mouth if it isnt something like food, bottle, fingers or a soft toy. No hard toys, no nothing! Well that causes a problem because he wont try anything new like a cup or sippy cup. He isnt even slightly open to trying anything new. He only will take 3rd foods at this point, and gets mad if there is any of the pasta bits in it. He will just act like he is choking and quit trying. Does anyone have any insights or tips? I dont have a clue what I need to do to get him to try. Oh and he just turned a year old 2 weeks ago.
Find me a tattoo like this...? I'm feeling lazy... Can you guys find me a tattoo please? I'm getting a tattoo in honour of my daughter. Most people get their names or birth date or a portrait or something like that, but I'm getting a My Little Pony. Heh. It's her fave show and her favourite soft toy is a MLP and I used to luuuurve the show when I was a youngin'. (And no, I'm not one of those parents who make their kids "love" things that they like, she decided to love MLP all by her little self). So what I'm looking for is a picture of a MLP that's standing up on it's hind leg all- "Neeeeeeiiighhhhhh!!! OMGPONIES!!1" you get the idea right??? Go forth and find! Earn some points! :D
