How do you deal with other people's children disrespecting your property? My SIL has two very destructive children, they are almost 3 years old. Every time they come over, which is around once per week, they break my children's toys and end up causing some sort of damage to our home (ie. slamming door knobs into walls, knocking down and breaking anything in their reach). How do you deal with this type of thing? It's starting to get colder so they are going to have to come into the house when they visit, I have been trying to meet them outside when they arrive and direct them to the backyard, but even then they still break my children's outdoor toys. See the thing is my SIL does not discipline her kids and she gets really mad if anyone even attempts to do it for her. She thinks her kids are "angels" and tries to keep her back to them as much as possible so when they do something wrong she doesn't see it. If she doesn't witness them being naughty then they are not naughty.
