  5. Hi :) There is the local hospital, charity shop, several charities to send to third world countries.. also, there is postpals. ( www.postpals.co.uk ) Postpals was set to get mail and small gifts to severely ill children - many have terminal illness. People can use the website to post something or feel free to e-mail me about mass donation (my friend runs postpals and I can help you out if needed)
  6. Good Bears of the World (GBW) would love to have these toys. I am a member of a den in Fort Wayne - tdbear7@comcast.net. I will even pick them up if you are close to me. Or contact GBW at www.goodbearsoftheworld.net. GBW gifts teddy bears and other stuffed animals to children and lonely adults in trauma situations (hospitals, nursing homes, etc.) You are wonderful to want to do this :-)
  7. you could donate it to any second hand store
  8. You could give them to a charity shop, children's hospital or orphanage..
  9. Most hospitals(work at one) WILL NOT take soft plush toys due to the state health regulations. BUT- try your local PD?AMBULANCE srvice- they will/do use them when reporting to accidents/domestic violence calls. If nothing else-check with your local food pantry for the less fortunate. They will always take anyting in good condition they can give to a child. ASLO-TRY AND CONTACT AN ABUSED WOMENS SHELTER

  12. You may find it hard to hand them in to a UK charity shop or hospital because they now have strict health and safety rules. If it can't be washed and sterilised then they won't risk spreading diseases. It's fair enough, after all the shop doesn't who has been drooling into the toy or what it's history is. Even if it looks clean it may be harbouring nasties. They have to apply the same policy to every donation to be fair. Sorry about that. Good luck.
