Does anyone know what the rules are on making soft toys to sell for charity in the UK?

I want to make rag dolls and teddy bears to raise funds for the local Salvation Army

1. Well I think you have to ask the charity's head office if they have any guidelines...you can always make them without detachable eyes...so there is no choking hazard...but the stuffing may have to comply with fire safety standards....best to check.
2. Lots of people do it. I think you just have to say not suitable for children under 3 to make it better safe than sorry
